Internship Opportunity: Connectivity Test Center
Join our Connectivity Test Center team to explore the frontier of AI-powered test automation. This internship focuses on leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and advanced prompting techniques to generate, optimize, and execute test scripts and scenarios for next-generation automotive cockpit systems. You'll work on real-world applications that blend AI, software testing, and embedded systems, contributing to the evolution of intelligent in-vehicle experiences.
This is a 6-month internship (full-time or part-time) with a hybrid working model; on-site preferred (Bucharest), depending on the testing setup and project needs.
What You'll Gain
- Exposure to cutting-edge AI applications in automotive testing.
- Mentorship from experts in system testing, automation, and automotive systems.
- Opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects with visibility across teams.
- A potential pathway to a full-time role in AI-driven system test engineering, based on performance and business needs.
What You Will Do
- Design and implement test scenarios using LLMs for natural language-based test generation and refinement.
- Develop and experiment with prompt engineering strategies to improve the relevance and accuracy of AI-generated test cases.
- Apply vibe coding principles to align test logic with user experience expectations and system behavior.
- Integrate AI-generated scripts into existing automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with system testers and developers to validate and iterate on test coverage and effectiveness.
- Document methodologies, findings, and best practices for scaling AI-driven testing across cockpit platforms.
What You Need to be Successful
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience or strong interest in working with LLMs (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) and prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.).
- Knowledge of Python-based testing frameworks like pytest or unittest to write and organize test cases.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Comfortable using AI-assisted tools to accelerate test design, log triage, and reporting—with disciplined validation and responsible handling of data.
- Evidence of excellence through meaningful projects (test automation, scripting, embedded labs, or tooling) and disciplined execution.
What Makes You Eligible
- Hybrid working model; on-site preferred (Bucharest), based on project and lab/setup needs.
- Fluent commercial and technical English; strong responsibility and attention to detail.
