About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Canoe, CAN, Python with CAPL Testing Engineer to join our team. You'll play a critical role in testing embedded automotive software using hardware testing tools like CANoe and scripting languages like Python and CAPL.

What You Will Do

1. Testing and Validation: Conduct testing of embedded automotive software using CANoe, performing flashing and scripting tasks to validate software functionality.
2. Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software issues.
3. Documentation and Feedback: Document test results, provide feedback to the development team, and participate in continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
4. Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Python, CAPL, and CANoe.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using CANoe for testing and simulation of automotive networks. Experience with scripting languages like Python and CAPL for automating test procedures. Strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and automotive electronics.
• Experience: 3-6 years of experience in automotive testing and development, specifically with CANoe and CAPL scripting.
• Key Skills: Knowledge of automotive communication protocols like CAN and Ethernet. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and methods for troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Strong analytical skills to interpret test results and identify root causes of issues. Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues. Effective communication and teamwork skills to work closely with development and engineering teams.

Bonus Points if You Have

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with debugging tools.
