Join world-class experts in finding answers to our customers' toughest questions as our Sr. Engineering Technician to work closely with a small engineering group in a fast-paced production environment to assist in the manufacture and test of precision optical metrology systems. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, organized, and electrically/mechanically inclined individual with a technical background that is eager to help streamline the production process of custom electro-optical instrumentation.
The Sr. Engineering Technician will be responsible for the build, test, and debug processes of production systems, and deliver critical testing support during the product development stage. In addition, the Sr. Engineering Technician will provide technical support to the engineering team and perform assembly tasks of electrical, mechanical, and optical components for production systems and calibration test fixtures. This role is based in Rochester, NY, will report to the Production Supervisor, and requires daily on-site presence.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00 per hour; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
