Main Responsibilities:
Servicing, calibrating and repairing gas detection equipment to the relevant standards.
Ensure all serviced products are left fully operational and tested – demonstrated to the site responsible person (recorded as such on-service paperwork).
Support other team members on jobs that require multiple engineers.
Provide customer 'user training' when required.
Work closely with the Service Admin team making sure jobs are scheduled efficiently and meeting customers' requirements.
Ensure service reports are completed accurately and submit them for invoicing on time.
Complete RAM's and POWRA's when required.
Responsible for and accountable for the van stock holding and calibration gas holding, ensuring that it is appropriate for the customer base in your region, and that 'life critical' components are cycled regularly to ensure we can offer a first-time fix where possible.
Ensure all personal PPE is maintained within inspection expiry dates, all service clothing is clean and respectable at the start of the day, and all service equipment is 'up to date' and operational.
Build strong relationships with Area Sales Managers, providing customer insight to support sales growth.
Your Skills & Experience:
Previous experience with fire/burglar alarms or other similar electronic devices.
Previous Field Service Engineering experience would be an advantage, but not necessary.
