HR/People Operations Leader

The Role
In this role, you will play a critical role, focusing on delivering operational excellence on a day-to-day basis and building a scalable, sustainable, and efficient set of HR programs and services. You will lead a broad scope of HR/People Operations activities delivering value and support to field management and employees, reflecting the culture and business objectives of the organization. You will partner with the HR leadership team, client leaders, and field management. You will also have an opportunity to grow the capability of HR/People Operations COE.
As a key contributor, you'll have the ability to affect the daily work lives of our over 5,000 employees in the US. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously improve onboarding processes to ensure a seamless and engaging new hire experience; Utilize HRIS (Dayforce) to support transactional operations
- Shape and define HR strategy and operating model aligned with company culture, growth, and employee needs
- Manage employee relations by investigating, resolving, and communicating regarding employee questions, issues, or concerns in a timely, appropriate, and confidential manner
- Assure compliance with local, State, and Federal employment laws, making proactive recommendations when appropriate
- Deliver a high level of employee support, building trust and confidence across the organization
- Recommend and implement innovative, scalable People Operations processes
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must bring a strategic mindset with a relentless focus on execution. Demonstrated success in driving initiatives, often from scratch or from Manual to Automated
- Proven success in driving efficient, automated, repeatable processes that generate consistent results
- Must be a strong collaborator and communicator. Proven success proactively building cross-functional partnerships within and outside of the company. Effective at driving outcomes and change even without direct authority
- Strong understanding of HR fundamentals, along with a good handle on the technical side of HR, such as compliance and employment law requirements
- Ability to manage multiple vendors, create efficient processes and high technology aptitude
- Relevant experience in Business, Human Resources Management, Finance, or related field
- Outcome-focused, non-bureaucratic, and collaborative leadership style (looking for someone who is informed, not constrained by the traditional definitions of the HR function). Experience measuring impact and managing against ambitious goals
- High-energy style and a hands-on work ethic with a passion for managing the details within a growing business

Requirements and Qualifications
- College/University Degree in Business, Finance or HR or equivalent with experience
- 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
- 1+ years of HR management
- Experience working with a large, widespread, hourly population
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills – adept at conveying any message, content, or training to any audience
- Disciplined, organized and detail oriented with the ability to consistently produce accurate and timely work product while managing multiple ongoing projects
