Hachette Book Group's summer internship program offers individuals an opportunity to learn about the publishing industry and explore an area of interest.
Program dates: June 1st, 2026 – End date: August 6th, 2026
Location: NYC Hybrid (up to three days per week on-site)
Company laptop will be provided for the duration of the program.
Weekly schedule: 28 hours per week, 9:00am-5:00pm, with a one-hour lunch break.
Pay rate: $17.00/hour
As an HBG marketing and publicity intern at Orbit, you will have the opportunity to work closely with seasoned professionals and gain hands-on professional experience as you own day-to-day tasks, help with special projects, and attend departmental meetings.
Orbit's hybrid summer intern will support our team by assisting marketing and publicity staff with projects. We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to learn about the publishing industry and be part of a creative team.
To enhance your work experience, we offer educational sessions featuring speakers from all departments of the company as well as networking and career development opportunities.
