✨ About The Role
- Develop and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) that complies with industry standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001
- Train staff on QMS processes, contribute to new business opportunities, and monitor product quality and production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Identify and analyze quality issues, conduct risk assessments, and work closely with the team to improve the QMS while ensuring compliance with customer standards
- Provide guidance and support to design and manufacturing engineering teams, investigate nonconformances from suppliers, and ensure compliance with export control requirements
- Collaborate with coworkers to address quality concerns, improve product design and manufacturability, and promote continuous process improvement company-wide
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced Quality Engineer with a background in aerospace environments and a strong understanding of regulatory standards for export controls and government contracts
- Detail-oriented individual with high intelligence, energy, and integrity, capable of building and maintaining a Quality Management System (QMS) that complies with industry standards
- Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills to train staff on QMS processes and procedures and collaborate effectively with coworkers
- Curious and motivated by first principles, with a humble and open-minded approach to consistently improve and address quality concerns
- Emotionally intelligent team player who can work in a fast-paced environment, identify quality issues, and implement corrective action plans
