- The Mechanical Integration Engineer will develop application-specific systems and assemblies for H3X’s HPDG products.
- Responsibilities include establishing requirements for complete systems and identifying optimal conceptual designs.
- The role involves designing parts and assemblies using SolidWorks and generating engineering drawings with GD&T standards.
- Candidates will conduct Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs) and Critical Design Reviews (CDRs) as part of the design process.
- The engineer will design systems for application-specific cooling, electrical, and mechanical integration.
- They will compile Bill of Materials and source components for assemblies, working closely with technicians to build prototypes.
- The role includes creating work instructions for first articles and executing testing and characterization of prototypes.
- Identifying root causes of failures during prototyping and making design modifications for reliability and performance is essential.
- The engineer will support future production builds and maintain testing and production equipment as necessary.

- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in mechanical system design and integration is required.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS is essential for success in this role.
