✨ About The Role
- The Mechanical Engineering Intern will support prototype development across all aspects of integrated motor drives.
- Responsibilities include identifying root causes of failures and establishing requirements for sub-systems.
- The intern will design parts and assemblies using SolidWorks and conduct Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs) and Critical Design Reviews (CDRs).
- The role involves compiling and sourcing Bill of Materials and generating engineering drawings with GD&T.
- The intern will create Design Validation Plans and Reports (DVP&R) and execute testing and characterization of sub-systems.
- Integration of sub-systems into full systems and support for future production builds will also be part of the job.
- The intern will be expected to identify workplace hazards and implement safe processes.

- The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is required, indicating strong academic performance.
- Hands-on experience in assembling mechanical systems is essential for success in this role.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar design software is necessary for designing parts and assemblies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are important for collaborating with the engineering team.
