✨ About The Role
- The Mechanical Engineering Intern will support prototype development across all aspects of integrated motor drives.
- Responsibilities include identifying root causes of failures and establishing requirements for sub-systems.
- The intern will compile and source Bill of Materials and conduct Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs) and Critical Design Reviews (CDRs).
- Designing parts and assemblies using SolidWorks and performing tolerance stack-ups with GD&T is a key part of the role.
- The intern will create build instructions and Design Validation Plans and Reports (DVP&R) for sub-systems.
- Testing and characterizing responsible sub-systems, as well as post-processing test results, will be part of the job.

- The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is required, indicating strong academic performance.
- Hands-on experience in assembling mechanical systems is essential for success in this role.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar design software is necessary to design parts and assemblies.
- The candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with the team.
