Regional HR Advisor FTC | Home Delivery Network

At GXO, we are seeking a Regional HR Advisor to support our Home Delivery Network. This is a hybrid role which supports multiple sites, there will be some travel required, mostly between our Doncaster and Nuneaton sites, a car allowance is provided. In this role, you will deliver high quality, consistent and clear employee relations advice, support and case management. This fast paced role supports both warehouse and transport operations, giving it great variety.

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract position, working Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, with flexibility on start and finish times. Ideally, you will be based near one of our sites in Nuneaton or Doncaster.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Takes responsibility for providing advice and generalist HR support, to several sites in the Home Delivery Network
• Manages employee relations caseload efficiently and effectively, maintaining consistency across sites and in line with legislation and employment law

• Assist in training and developing managers in people related matters, ensuring processes are followed and legislation is met
• Support cyclical activities, such as salary review, bonus, performance, engagement, succession planning

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous HR Officer/ Advisor experience
• Have a full, clean UK driving license as travel is required
• Previous experience of providing employment law and best practice advice on ER cases
• Confidential and professional approach
• CIPD or equivalent qualification desirable or relevant HR experience at an appropriate level
• Exposure to assisting with HR Projects would be an advantage
