Apply comprehensive knowledge to plan and lead ServiceNow administration activities, including user management and system configuration. Evaluate system performance results and recommend improvements affecting platform success. Function as a technical expert in ServiceNow operations while supervising administrative staff. Manage complex integrations and customization requirements with organizational policies compliance.
Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, ensuring stability and optimal performance.
Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, and UI policies.
Manage user access, roles, and permissions.
Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and apply fixes promptly.
Implement updates, patches, and upgrades in alignment with best practices.
Support integrations with other enterprise systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
A Bachelor's Degree is required.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
A minimum of FIVE (5) years of hands-on ServiceNow administration experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain an approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow core modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge).
Familiarity with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API).
Knowledge of data imports, reporting, and dashboards.
Understanding of ITIL processes.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Implementation Specialist for ITSM).
Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
Experience with advanced modules (ITOM, HRSD, CSM).
Exposure to integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
Knowledge of CMDB and asset management.
Familiarity with Agile or DevOps practices.
Basic understanding of cloud platforms and security compliance.
The annual salary range for this position is $92,000.00-$153,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
