Marketing Manager

As our Marketing Manager, you'll be joining a dynamic and forward-thinking marketing team within GSMA Intelligence, a specialised division dedicated to delivering cutting-edge market insights. Our team of over 35 analysts generates more than 200 reports annually, offering you a rich source of content to work with. This role provides the exciting opportunity to collaborate with seasoned experts, develop innovative marketing strategies, and engage with a global audience. The purpose of this role is to enhance our brand visibility and customer engagement, making a substantial impact on our business growth and success.

Joining our marketing team means becoming part of an innovative group dedicated to supporting GSMA Intelligence. We provide the latest trends, analytics, and insights in the mobile and communications industries. Our services encompass comprehensive data access, insightful research, expert analysis, bespoke consulting, event support, and spectrum strategy optimisation.

Our analysts produce over 200 reports annually, ensuring a constant flow of high-quality content. The marketing team promotes these insights, working closely with sales, technology, and our 35+ analysts to create impactful campaigns that engage a global audience and elevate brand visibility.

As a Marketing Manager at GSMA Intelligence, you will be instrumental in crafting and executing marketing campaigns that captivate our audience and promote our services. You will lead our email marketing efforts, ensuring newsletters, promotions, and automated journeys are engaging and effective. You will also manage our social media presence, support event promotion, and create compelling content across channels.

In addition, you will play a key role in supporting and, where appropriate, owning campaign materials to launch, maintain, and enhance our suite of products and services. This includes working closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure our product marketing campaigns are impactful, consistent, and aligned with our overall brand strategy.

Success in this role means significantly enhancing customer engagement metrics and contributing to the overall growth of our brand's visibility and influence.

You will bring proven experience in email marketing, short-form content writing, and social media management. Your ability to craft compelling and accurate content will be key to driving our marketing initiatives. Familiarity with marketing automation tools, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, will help you streamline campaigns.

You will also have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and strong organisational capabilities to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Google Analytics, and design tools such as Canva will be advantageous.

Above all, you will have a passion for learning and staying updated with the latest marketing trends and technologies, ensuring our strategies remain cutting-edge and effective.

• Proven experience in email marketing, short-form content writing, and social media management

• Familiarity with marketing automation tools, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, is preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail

• Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Google Analytics, and basic design tools (e.g. Canva)
