Responsibilities

You are the heart of our logistics and ensure that every order arrives quickly, correctly, and cost-effectively with the customer. You manage our 3PL partner, optimize processes from inbound to returns, and keep an eye on costs, quality, and KPIs. With your organizational talent and hands-on mentality, you ensure that our operations run smoothly – whether in everyday life or during peak phases.

In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that our orders go smoothly and cost-effectively from the warehouse to the customer. Specifically, this means:

• You manage and optimize the entire outbound process – from inbound to shipping to returns handling.
• You are the main point of contact for our 3PL service provider: daily communication, process optimization, SLA monitoring, contract and invoice management.
• You monitor and improve our return processes – including processing, credits, and refurbishment.
• You analyze and reduce our logistics costs per order.
• You are the interface to customer care when it comes to delivery problems, complaints, or returns.
• You ensure that legal and internal requirements are met in the warehouse and shipping process.

Your daily routine

• Daily: Monitoring of inbound shipments, shipping approvals, shipment status, and returns. Direct communication with our 3PL in case of deviations or escalations.
• Weekly: Performance analyses, coordination with 3PL, review of invoices.
• Monthly: KPI reporting, cost monitoring, planning for seasonal peaks, reviews of return reasons.
• Ad-hoc: Contract & SLA reviews, optimizations of packaging and shipping standards, setting up new processes.

Qualification

• At least 3–5 years of experience in the field of E-commerce operations, ideally in the D2C environment.
• In-depth knowledge of working with 3PL service providers (management, SLA management, contract processing).
• Completed studies in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable degree with relevant work experience.
• Very good knowledge of E-commerce processes (outbound, returns, shipping logistics).
• Experience in cost and KPI monitoring and deriving optimization measures.
• Routine in handling ERP and 3PL systems.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills – you keep an overview even during high order volumes.
• Process optimization is your passion: You recognize weaknesses and develop pragmatic solutions.
• Communication skills and confident demeanor in working with external partners.
• Hands-on mentality: You get involved where it is necessary and do not wait for others to start.
• Proactiveness and sense of responsibility – you work reliably and proactively.
