At Groups, the Provider Support Specialist is at the center of a team of professionals who deliver a high quality intake experience to new members. The Provider Support Specialist is involved in every aspect of admitting a new member into our treatment program. By providing structure for colleagues and members alike, the Provider Support Specialist allows everyone to do their part in the treatment process, efficiently and respectfully. In this position, you are responsible for coordinating the member's first provider experience at Groups and ensuring the experience is efficient, responsive and respectful at every step.

Provide exceptional customer service and help members troubleshoot issues that affect their treatment. Manage new members and the virtual workflow, including check-in/out, drug screens, and follow up on prescription issues. Promptly and accurately enter prescription information as prescribed by providers (including Suboxone and comfort medication) into Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Manage medical provider appointment requests, scheduling, and followup. Accurate and timely data entry into the member's EMR; update member demographics in EMR as needed; including pharmacy location. Oversee day-to-day IPE workflow and appointments. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency for member's appointments with providers Sending appointment reminders and rescheduling appointments as deemed necessary. Welcome all prospective members into their appointment with the provider. Answer general office level questions from members regarding program concerns, pharmacy issues, and/or other personal needs of the program. Answer member questions regarding the urine drug screen process. Meet with supervisor on a regular basis to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas and or improving services. Comply with company policies and procedure and local, state, and federal regulations. Work as a team member, demonstrating maturity and objectivity. Support an average of 1-3 Provider schedules per week. Other Duties & Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree (completed or in-progress) preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role. Strong experience working in a virtual environment and using related technology. Healthcare, insurance eligibility, retail or hospitality experience preferred Fluency with Excel/spreadsheets and Google Apps (Gmail and Google Docs). Experience with working in and maintaining an EMR. Access to reliable internet and telephone services, specifically 40M download and 10M upload package or higher as well as a strong WiFi signal from your remote work location. Must meet pre-employment requirements and maintain all applicable state and job-related guidelines for background screening. Depending on state-specific requirements, this may include fingerprinting, drug testing, health screening, and license/credential verifications.
