- The ideal candidate should possess an advanced degree in engineering or a physical science.
- A track record of delivering multiple projects using diverse and distributed sensor data to classify or detect natural phenomena is essential.
- Experience in preparing real-time data and tools for operations centers is required, with examples including security monitoring, weather, pipeline, wind turbine, or utility management.
- The ability to present data to diverse audiences through dashboards and user-facing software tools is a must.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in analyzing and interpreting sensor or instrumentation data within a scientific or engineering context is necessary.
- Demonstrated ownership and delivery of at least two scientific projects involving event detection or classification based on sensor data is expected.
- Proficiency with Python, Git, and SQL, as well as familiarity with C++ and Spark, is required.
- The candidate should be comfortable working in a Linux environment.
