Delivers care to patients intra-operative, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the surgical patient and health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Primary duties include but not limited to: circulating procedures, instrumentation of procedures, and assisting surgeon and/or anesthesia providers. Provides high quality care to the following surgical patient populations: Patient of any age undergoing surgical procedures in the following specialties: ENT, General, Orthopedics to include Spine, Podiatry, Dental/Oral surgery, Pain Management, Ophthalmology, Urology, OB/Gynecology, and Vascular. Clinical care activities and nursing services: Circulating, Instrumenting, First assisting, Patient education, Resource nurse.
Minimum Hiring Wage: From $35.79 per hour
$10,000 sign on bonus eligibility for qualified candidates Scheduled Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm, this position also requires scheduled on-call shifts, response time when on-call is 30 minutes.
Associate Degree in nursing (ADN) required
Prefer Bachelors degree in Nursing or other related field
Health care experience within the last five years preferred
OR experience preferred
Electronic documentation/ keyboarding experience preferred
IV Conscious Sedation experience preferred
