Terminal Specialist

Graymont is seeking an experienced terminal specialist who excels in working independently to join our Pasir Gudang team. This role is pivotal in meeting rising regional demand and enhancing the strength and efficiency of our supply chain operations.

This is a permanent, hands on, full-time position located at our Lime handling terminal in Pasir Gudang, reporting directly to the Logistics Manager–SEA. As a member of the Asia Pacific Logistics team, the Terminal Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily terminal operations, ensuring that both inbound and outbound logistics activities are carried out safely and efficiently. Their role is essential in maintaining seamless and reliable logistical movements across the terminal.

Key Focus Areas the Role Will Include:

• Oversee/operating the loading and unloading activities, ensuring both outbound and inbound logistics run smoothly.
• Manage inventory transfers between onsite storage vessels so that stock is always ready for dispatch.
• Take responsibility for conducting routine maintenance and cleaning of terminal equipment to keep operations running efficiently.
• Closely monitor daily inventory levels and proactively place orders to replenish stock as needed.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive daily operational and inventory reports to ensure accuracy and transparency.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and maintain thorough documentation for all activities.
• Foster a proactive safety culture throughout the terminal, addressing potential risks before they impact equipment, supply continuity, or customer service levels.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following attributes and qualifications:

• At least three years of hands-on experience in logistics or warehouse operations are required.
• A solid grasp of safety protocols, especially those pertaining to hazardous substances, is essential.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work effectively with external service providers.
• Demonstrated capacity to operate independently while also contributing meaningfully within a team settings.
• Strong self-motivation, accountability, and adept problem-solving skills are highly valued.
• Willingness and flexibility to accommodate extended working hours as business needs arise.
