Patient Service Representative – Temporary - Draper

Granger Medical Clinic has an immediate opening for a temporary full-time Patient Services Representative in Family Medicine / Internal Medicine at our Draper clinic.

We're seeking a confident, self-motivated, and compassionate individual. Receptionists play a vital role in supporting our patients, physicians, and staff, ensuring exceptional care. As the first point of contact, strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Schedule: M-Th 8:00 am - 5:30 pm

This is a full-time, temporary position, with the duration of three – four months.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Previous medical billing / office experience.
• Experience in scheduling appointments.
• Maintain a professional and courteous phone demeanor when communicating with patients, providers, and staff.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Collaborative team player who enjoys working with people and contributing to a positive work environment.
• Ability to speak Spanish is helpful but not required.
• Strong typing and computer skills required, and proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR), email, scheduling software, and basic word processing tools.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Warmly greet patients arriving for medical or other services in a courteous and professional manner.
• Answer telephones in a professional manner.
• Scheduling appointments in accordance with established procedures.
• Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with physicians, clinic staff and patients regarding their appointment scheduling and other needs.
• Record all demographic information necessary to contact patient and/or bill insurance carrier for services provided.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Sedentary work, requiring lifting up to 10 lbs
• Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment
• Inside, climate-controlled working conditions
