The Opportunity As a Cage Cashier for Grand Casinos, you are responsible for completing various financial transactions for Guests, balancing bank drawers, and ensuring accurate paperwork at the end of each shift. Cage Cashiers must operate various machinery and software, maintain the functionality of cash-related machines, and observe and report unusual Guest activities.

What Qualifies You
Previous money handling experience preferred but not required. Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA). Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR's). Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process. Must have skills Effective verbal and written communication skills are crucial for conveying information to Guests, team members, and management. Clear communication is necessary to avoid misunderstandings and ensure smooth operations. Excel in providing outstanding positive Guest service. This includes being friendly, approachable, and attentive to the needs of Guests. Proactive in addressing challenges that may arise during their duties. Being observant of usual and unusual Guest activities is vital for maintaining security and reporting any suspicious behavior or incidents appropriately. Displaying sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential matters is crucial, given the nature of financial transactions and sensitive information. Collaborating with other cage cashiers and team members is essential for maintaining a cohesive and efficient work environment. Willingness to assist others when needed fosters teamwork. Cage Cashiers must pay close attention to details, especially when handling large sums of money. Accuracy in counting, verifying, and processing transactions is critical.
