Summary

Responsible for the beverage service to guests, cocktailers and/or food servers in an assigned outlet ensuring efficient and prompt service for guests.

Essential Duties Of The Position:

• Responsible for the mixing and serving alcoholic beverages and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
• Responsible for the mixing and serving beverages in a service station capacity to beverage servers in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Responsible for receiving, issuing and keeping necessary records of liquor store and supplies.
• Responsible for balancing sales in compliance with the cash handling and over/short policy.
• Maintain a neat and clean bar station on a continual basis.
• Knowledge of the Dram Shop Act and bartenders' responsibilities and rights under it.
• Knowledge of all beverage regulations.
• Participate as a team member with all cocktailers, casino utilities, servers, and supervisors and any pertinent Grand Casino's associates to ensure efficient operational standards.
• Works in outlets as needed.

Education And/Or Experience:

• Previous bartending experience of one year.
• Alcohol awareness training within two months.
