SUMMARY:
Responsible for the beverage service to guests, cocktailers and/or food servers in an assigned outlet ensuring efficient and prompt service for guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
- Responsible for the mixing and serving alcoholic beverages and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
- Responsible for the mixing and serving beverages in a service station capacity to beverage servers in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Responsible for receiving, issuing and keeping necessary records of liquor store and supplies.
- Responsible for balancing sales in compliance with the cash handling and over/short policy.
- Maintain a neat and clean bar station on a continual basis.
- Knowledge of the Dram Shop Act and bartenders' responsibilities and rights under it.
- Knowledge of all beverage regulations.
- Participate as a team member with all cocktailers, casino utilities, servers, and supervisors and any pertinent Grand Casino's associates to ensure efficient operational standard.
- Works in outlets as needed.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Previous bartending experience of one year.
- Alcohol awareness training within two months.
