You will report to our Software Engineering Manager, and you will be based onsite in our Petaling Jaya office.

The critical tasks you will perform include:

• Designing and implementing robust APIs and backend services using Python/Go.
• Creating responsive, user-friendly interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews to foster growth.
• Building scalable database architectures and optimizing query performance.
• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver features effectively.
• Leading feature development from conception to deployment, driving technical decision-making.
• Participating in Agile development processes and contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

Essential skills you will need include:

• At least 4 years in software development with expert-level Python and Django knowledge.
• Advanced JavaScript/TypeScript skills, preferably with modern frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
• Experienced in RESTful API design, GraphQL, and experience with database design (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM optimization.
• Proficiency in Git and collaborative workflows, along with knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and experience with caching strategies and message queues.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, leadership experience, adaptability in fast-paced environments, and a collaborative mindset.
