Water Resources Project Manager

I am partnered with a very successful, award-winning, full-service professional consulting firm and they are seeking a Water Resources Project Manager to join their growing team. This person would have the ability to come in and lead and grow the Missoula Water Resources team. This person would provide full consulting services from planning, design support, and construction administration. Mainly focused on stormwater, but should have a hydraulic and hydrology background, as well as experience in stormwater and irrigation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide full consulting services from planning, design support, and construction administration
  • Guide multidisciplinary teams
  • Manage client and regulatory coordination
  • Oversee work from hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling through design and construction support
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients
  • Lead the planning, modeling, design, and delivery of complex water resources projects, including flood mitigation, stormwater systems, river restoration, dam/reservoir rehabilitation, and watershed studies

Requirements:

  • B.S., Civil Engineering or related field
  • PE required in the state of Montana or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 6+ year's of experience in water resources engineering, including design and project delivery
  • Strong proficiency with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools
  • Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk across multiple concurrent projects.
