Territory Sales Manager – Building Materials

We are seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Manager to join our growing team! This hybrid role is focused on driving sales growth and expanding market presence along the lower East coast territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key customer relationships and building new business with builders, architects, project managers, and other industry professionals.

Job Type: Full Time, Remote with Travel

Responsibilities for the Territory Sales Manager:

  • Drive revenue growth within the assigned territory by developing and executing a strategic sales plan.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with builders, contractors, architects, and other commercial and residential stakeholders.
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through regular contact, field visits, and exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments including production, customer service, and leadership to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients and stakeholders.
  • Track sales activity, pipeline, and customer engagement using CRM tools such as HubSpot.
  • Attend regional trade shows, builder events, and industry networking functions as needed.
  • Monitor market trends and provide feedback to leadership on opportunities for product innovation or improvement.

Requirements of the Territory Sales Manager:

  • Minimum 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in building materials or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and managing a territory with measurable results.
  • Experience selling to the architectural and builder communities is highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms.
