Senior Transportation Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

• Identify and vet potential carriers to build a network of reliable service providers
• Generate leads, set appointments and present business proposals to potential customers through various communication channels
• Undertake cross selling and up selling within existing customer base to further develop account potential
• Meet or exceed sales goals
• Use your truckload of experience to drive success

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role
• Must have the ability to steer a team of sales managers in the right direction
• Have at least 5 years of leadership experience
• Ability to navigate the transportation and logistics industry
• Strong problem-solving skills - you always find a way to deliver
• Excellent customer service skills - you know how to keep clients trucking along
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite - you know your way around the office park
• Strong industry relationships a must - you have roads that lead to success
• Ability to travel occasionally - pack your bags and hit the road

Salary: 75K to 175K Base plus commissions
