About the Opportunity
A growing provider of internal pipe coating (IPC) and tubular protection systems is seeking an experienced Sales / Business Development Representative to expand business across the Permian Basin, Gulf Coast, and U.S. land markets.
This is a high-impact role for a technically proficient, results-driven sales professional with experience in oilfield coatings, thermal diffusion, and polymer-based protection systems. You'll leverage your existing oilfield client relationships and technical expertise to generate immediate revenue and grow market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow business in IPC coatings and tubular protection systems across U.S. land markets
- Leverage your existing network of E&P companies, tubular distributors, and oilfield service providers
- Act as a technical advisor, helping clients choose the right coating for corrosion, paraffin, and asphaltene conditions
- Collaborate with internal teams in operations, R&D, and field engineering to ensure project success
- Identify and close new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and new coating technologies to stay ahead in the IPC market
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and technical events
- Manage proposals, pricing negotiations, and contract renewals with clients
What You Bring
- Recent, hands-on experience in IPC coatings or tubular protection systems
- Proven success driving sales in the oilfield coatings or tubular services industry
- Strong understanding of thermal diffusion, polymer coatings, and corrosion prevention
- Active network in the Permian Basin or broader U.S. land oilfield markets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel frequently and thrive in a fast-paced, lean organization
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable "wearing many hats"
Preferred Background
- Experience (within the last 3–5 years) at a tubular coating company or IPC provider
- Based in Midland/Odessa or Houston, TX
- Existing client relationships with E&P operators, tubular suppliers, or oilfield service contractors
