Remote Transportation Sales Manager Needed

Location: Must reside in Connecticut but may work remote from your home

Comp: Base pay is $70K - 125K depending on experience and book of business (aggressive commissions negotiable)

Only those with proven experience in the freight/transportation sales industry need apply

Are you ready to embark on an exciting career that allows you to reach for the moon? Look no further! gpac has partnered with a well-established company in the Transportation & Logistics industry. We are currently seeking an accomplished sales manager to join our client's growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with shippers and carriers, becoming a trusted partner in their freight transport needs.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Carrier teams to ensure complete load visibility
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential growth areas
  • Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations to key decision-makers
  • Generate and follow up on leads, cold calls, and referrals
  • Negotiate contracts
  • Develop sales strategies to meet monthly sales goals
  • Analyze and interpret data

Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Outside Sales, preferably in the transportation and logistics industry
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to think on your feet
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed in a competitive market
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask
