Key Account Manager

A well-established, family-owned Dairy Additives Supplier is seeking a Key Account Manager in Minnesota/Wisconsin. Our client is investing and expanding their presence in the US Market!

Position Overview

The person in this role will work from a home-based office and focus on setting up meetings with key influencers and feed companies.

This role requires daily travel with 50% overnights – covering 2 states. The position comes with an established book of business + room to grow!

This is a full-time salaried position with 20% bonus potential!

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined portfolio of key accounts across the region, including agricultural merchants, feed compounders, progressive farms, consultants, and distributors.
  • Deliver regional sales and margin targets for the full Animal Nutrition product range.
  • Identify where technical support can unblock commercial challenges (such as training requirements), drive adoption, or support product trials.
  • Ensure a seamless interface between commercial and technical discussions with customers. Support capital improvements and equipment optimization projects
  • Assist in onboarding and supporting new trade accounts, particularly those aligned with growth ambitions or underserved regions.
  • Provide timely, accurate sales forecasts and input into supply chain and demand planning.
  • Collaborate on pricing and promotional planning in conjunction with the Commercial Manager.

Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree (or equivalent) in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field.
  • 3+ Years of Dairy Feed/Nutrition Sales.
  • Strong understanding of farm production and economics.
  • Experience selling into agricultural merchants, feed businesses, or large-scale farms preferred.
