Quality Engineer

We're looking for a Quality Engineer to join our growing team! This role is a great fit for someone with machine job shop or development manufacturing experience in fast-paced industries like defense and aerospace.

What You'll Do:

1. Review and interpret customer specifications to ensure compliance
2. Perform and document FAI (First Article Inspections) and inspection data for precision-machined components
3. Work hands-on with machinists and engineers to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement
4. Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure tight tolerances and standards are consistently met
5. Support quality systems and audits to maintain certifications and customer requirements
6. Contribute to building efficient, repeatable quality processes in a high-mix, low-volume environment

What We're Looking For:

• Experience as a Quality Engineer in aerospace/defense or job shop manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of FAI, inspection methods, and customer-driven requirements
• Familiarity with precision machining, specialty materials, and complex part inspection
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
• Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative, with strong communication skills
• Hands-on approach to problem-solving and process improvement
