Project Engineer - Heavy Civil

Project Engineer

A growing contractor is seeking a Project Engineer to support civil construction projects and assist project teams with coordination, documentation, and field operations. This role works closely with project managers and superintendents to help keep projects organized, on schedule, and running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project coordination, scheduling, and documentation
• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Support field operations and subcontractor coordination
• Track quantities, production, and project costs
• Maintain project records and assist with project reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work closely with field teams and project leadership
• Civil or heavy construction experience preferred but not required
