Project Engineer

MEP/HVAC Project Engineer

MEP/HVAC Project Engineer needed for a fast-growing company with exceptional training and development opportunities. Be home with family nightly. Minimum 3 years of experience preferred in complex mechanical and plumbing commercial projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain project drawings, procurement, RFI and submittal logs
2. Assemble, review, distribute equipment, materials and method submittals
3. Assist project manager with pricing materials and change orders estimates
4. Compose RFI's to improve project profitability
5. Collect and review time, material and work orders
6. Review outstanding change orders
7. Work with subcontractors
8. Assist foreman with schedule building, daily communication and procuring materials and equipment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel

Experience with Bluebeam, Adobe editing, AutoCAD and Microsoft Project is a plus.

Must have a strong work ethic and good communication skills.

Experience working for a mechanical contractor is helpful.

Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without restrictions
