Pre-Engineered Metal Building Detailer

We're seeking a detail-oriented Pre-Engineered Metal Building Detailer to join a well-established fabricator specializing in pre-engineered metal building systems. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating accurate and timely shop drawings that bring projects to life. You'll work closely with engineers, project managers, and shop personnel to ensure every drawing meets project specifications, industry standards, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed fabrication and erection drawings for pre-engineered metal buildings.
• Interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Model PEMB components using Metal Building Software (MBS) .
• Generate part, assembly, and material lists.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and shop personnel to resolve drawing or design issues.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry codes and project requirements.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience detailing pre-engineered metal buildings.
• Proficiency with Metal Building Software (MBS) .
• Strong understanding of PEMB fabrication and erection practices.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and time management abilities.

Preferred:

• Experience with 3D modeling or BIM coordination.
• Familiarity with AISC, MBMA, or CWB standards.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $25 – $35 per hour (DOE).
