IT Support Specialist

What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced hardware, software, and peripheral issues across Windows-based environments
- Serve as an escalation point for IT support requests and assist junior technicians as needed
- Support basic networking needs including switch ports, VLAN checks, Wi-Fi, cabling, and VoIP devices
- Deploy, maintain, and secure laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and enterprise applications
- Monitor and support endpoint security tools (AV, EDR, encryption, patching)
- Manage IT assets from deployment through retirement, ensuring accurate inventory and secure disposal
- Assist with IT projects such as PC refreshes, Wi-Fi upgrades, application rollouts, and equipment moves
- Work closely with IT, Operations, and Engineering teams to support the business
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in IT support, desktop administration, or endpoint management
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and hybrid on-prem/cloud environments
- Solid networking fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, DHCP/DNS, Layer 1–3 troubleshooting)
- Experience supporting enterprise Wi-Fi, VoIP, and endpoint security tools
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in both office and plant environments
