The International Operations Manager leads air and/or ocean import and export operations, ensuring efficient, compliant, and profitable freight movement. This role manages teams, customer and carrier relationships, and drives performance using CargoWise and operational KPIs.
Oversee end-to-end international import/export operations
Drive gross margin growth and elevate customer experience
Analyze KPIs and performance data to improve operations
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team
Manage escalations and serve as the primary operational contact
Strengthen relationships with customers, carriers, and global agents
Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations
3–5 years of international, LTL, FTL, or expedited operations experience
1+ year managing direct reports
CargoWise Certified Specialist (or ability to obtain)
IMDG and/or IATA Dangerous Goods certification
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
