HVAC/Plumbing Dispatcher – Service Division

An established mechanical contractor is seeking an HVAC/Plumbing Service Dispatcher to join its fast-paced and growing team. This position is responsible for scheduling and dispatching HVAC and plumbing technicians, coordinating service calls, and maintaining clear and efficient communication across field and office operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Dispatch HVAC/plumbing technicians for service calls, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs
• Prioritize and schedule incoming service requests based on urgency, availability, and location
• Monitor work order progress, technician location, and job status to ensure timely completion
• Serve as the main point of contact between field teams, customers, and internal departments
• Support documentation, quoting, and billing follow-ups as needed
• Make quick decisions to resolve scheduling conflicts or delays

Qualifications include:

• 1–3+ years of dispatch experience (HVAC/Plumbing or related service trades preferred)
• Understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems and terminology is a plus
• Highly organized, with strong administrative and multitasking skills
• Professional and clear communicator who remains calm under pressure
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.) and dispatching/job tracking systems
• Service Titan experience is a plus
• Local to the area and available for in-office work
