A growing manufacturing group is adding a traveling Field Service Engineer to support three local production plants. This newly created role offers variety, stability, and the chance to work hands-on with advanced controls and automation systems. This role is 60% travel between plants with emergency work being done on Saturdays as needed.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC and control systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and other control technology brands).
Work with pneumatics, hydraulics, drives, servo motors, shafts, couplings, and robotics.
Perform electrical work up to 480V safely and efficiently.
Handle scheduled maintenance and respond to emergency service needs as they arise.
Travel locally between facilities to support ongoing production operations.
Assist with controls upgrades and improvements—PLC programming experience is a strong plus.
Strong background in industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience with PLC troubleshooting, control systems, hydraulics, and automation equipment.
Skilled in electrical systems up to 480V, drives, pneumatics, and mechanical assemblies.
Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays or overtime as needed.
