Field Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to oversee daily operations in a precast concrete yard. This role is responsible for managing personnel, coordinating logistics, and ensuring safe, efficient handling and storage of precast products. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and a solid understanding of crane and rigging operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily field operations, including handling, storage, and movement of precast products.
• Supervise and schedule field personnel; provide training, feedback, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure safe rigging, lifting, and loading of precast panels using gantry cranes and related equipment.
• Prepare and organize concrete panels for shipping in coordination with logistics and production teams.
• Maintain high safety standards and enforce proper procedures for crane operation and material handling.
• Communicate effectively with crane operators using two-way headsets and hand signals.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in precast concrete, construction, or a related industry preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and safety-focused work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand for 8–12 hours per day.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must have coordination, balance, and stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
