Sales Agronomist

GPAC has teamed up with a well-known and reputable agronomy company in the area who is looking to add an experienced retail sales agronomist to their team. They offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes a competitive base salary, great commissions, health insurance, a company vehicle, 401K, PTO and more.

Sales agronomist responsibilities:

• Make fertilizer, chemical and seed recommendations to growers and farmers
• Work alongside other agronomists to carry out daily responsibilities
• Facilitate positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote long-term repeat business
• Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful transactions
• Forecast supply requirements by month and annual basis
• Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently
• Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology

Sales agronomist qualifications:

• 3+ years of agronomy related experience
• A degree in agronomy/agriculture
• Self-motivated, ability to work independently and with a team
• Able to advise on almonds, pistachios, citrus, cotton, corn, and more
• Candidates with established grower/farmer relationships will be prioritized
• Must have a valid U.S. driver's license
