A well-established independent insurance agency is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager to join their growing team. This position is ideal for someone with 1–2+ years of employee benefits experience who enjoys direct client interaction, service excellence, and managing small to mid-sized group accounts (20+ employees).
You will join a collaborative, client-focused agency known for stability, strong leadership, and long-term professional growth.
Key responsibilities include managing employee benefits clients, handling daily service needs, supporting producers and clients with plan comparisons, quotes, and onboarding, communicating directly with carriers and clients to ensure smooth policy management, advising clients on available options, and maintaining strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
Desired background includes 1–2+ years of Employee Benefits Account Management experience, experience managing group sizes of 20+ employees, knowledge of major carriers, understanding of medical, dental, vision, life, and ancillary products, strong organizational and communication skills, and an active State Life & Health License.
Compensation and benefits include a base salary of $55,000–$80,000 (depending on experience) and a supportive, professional culture with mentorship and long-term career stability.
