Electrical Controls Engineer

Seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to support automation, controls design, and equipment performance in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, document, and maintain electrical control systems for industrial equipment, including low-voltage and 3-phase power
• Develop, modify, and support PLC and HMI applications used in machine control
• Troubleshoot electrical and control issues on the production floor and during equipment testing
• Partner with mechanical, production, and project teams to support new builds and design improvements
• Create and update electrical drawings, technical documentation, and operator materials
• Support multiple controls projects simultaneously while managing priorities and timelines
• Serve as a technical resource for internal teams and limited external support

Required Background

• Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience
• Hands-on experience with industrial automation and control systems
• Proficiency using AutoCAD for electrical schematics and layouts
• Working knowledge of industrial networks such as Ethernet/IP or CAN-based systems
• Ability to work independently and drive projects from design through implementation
• Strong communication and organizational skills with a practical, problem-solving mindset
• Reliable attendance with the ability to meet a standard full-time schedule
