Outside Sales Representative – Millwork & Doors

We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to sell high-quality millwork and door products to commercial and residential builders. The ideal candidate will have an existing book of business, cultivate new business relationships, and provide exceptional customer service to builders in the residential and commercial markets. This role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and has a deep understanding of the construction industry and its needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with multi-family builders, contractors, and developers. Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in the construction industry.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all product inquiries, project specifications, and order details.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of our millwork and door product offerings, including technical specifications, customization options, and industry standards. Provide product recommendations based on client needs.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales in a timely and professional manner. Ensure that all transactions meet company standards and profit margins.
• Work closely with the inside sales team, project managers, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely delivery of products.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Outside Sales Representative, Account Manager, or similar role in doors and millwork.
• Strong knowledge of millwork, doors, and other building products, particularly as they relate to multi-family construction projects.
• Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and industry professionals.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field-based role.
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client meetings and site visits.
