Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to lead mechanical design, 3D CAD modeling, and engineering documentation for custom manufacturing and machine design projects. This position is ideal for a motivated engineer with strong SolidWorks, mechanical engineering, and product design skills who is eager to grow into senior-level responsibilities and take ownership of complex engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical design concepts and create precise 3D CAD models using parametric modeling tools
• Research and evaluate material-handling systems, automation, and machine-based solutions
• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate structural strength and design performance
• Select and specify mechanical, pneumatic, and motion-control components
• Produce detailed engineering drawings, assemblies, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Maintain structured digital engineering files, CAD data, and project documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, project engineering, and customers
• Manage multiple engineering projects, design tasks, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of structural design, strength of materials, and mechanical systems
• 3–5+ years of experience in:
• Machine design or fixture design
• 3D parametric modeling (SolidWorks highly preferred)
• Mechanical engineering or structural engineering
• Pneumatic systems or PLC-controlled equipment (preferred)
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills
• Commitment to high-quality engineering work, accuracy, and continuous improvement
