Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (Csr)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building client relationships, providing excellent service, and supporting producers and account managers in meeting client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day service and support to commercial lines clients.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, certificates of insurance, endorsements, and policy changes.
  • Process renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and other policy transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain client files and documentation in the agency management system.
  • Assist producers and account managers with preparing proposals, presentations, and other client deliverables.
  • Communicate with carriers to resolve service issues and ensure timely policy delivery.
  • Support the retention of existing clients through proactive service and follow-up.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of insurance industry experience (commercial lines experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems a plus.
