Assistant Superintendent / Field Engineer – Commercial Construction

Location: [City, State] Compensation: $65,000 – $90,000 (DOE) + bonus + benefits

We are partnered with a growing commercial general contractor seeking an Assistant Superintendent / Field Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in field leadership with a strong pipeline of work.

About the Role:

This position will play a key role in managing daily field operations, supporting the Superintendent in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing day-to-day job site operations
• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors and vendors
• Monitor and enforce job site safety standards and compliance
• Track project progress and help maintain schedules
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards

Qualifications:

• 1–4+ years of experience in commercial construction (field or project engineer experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of construction processes and sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software is a plus
