Sales Agronomist

A well-respected local ag retailer is seeking a Sales Agronomist who enjoys working directly with growers, building relationships, and providing trusted agronomic advice across Pennsylvania's diverse cropping systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recommend seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products based on grower needs
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with local growers
  • Develop sales proposals, presentations, and contracts
  • Collaborate with other agronomy staff on service and support
  • Track and forecast seasonal product needs
  • Stay current on agronomy services and precision ag technology
  • Support grower success through in-field consultation and planning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree or experience in Agronomy, Crop Science, or Ag Business
  • 2+ years of agronomy or ag retail experience preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally
