Product Marketing Manager

GovWell is hiring a Product Marketing Manager to own how we position, message, and bring our products to market. As we scale our engineering and product teams, this role ensures that everything we build is paired with a clear, compelling story that drives pipeline, adoption, and customer engagement.

You'll sit at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Marketing, partnering closely with product managers, engineers, and the Head of Marketing to translate what's being built into positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that resonate with our audience. You'll be involved both upfront in shaping how we think about new products and post-launch in driving adoption through coordinated launches, customer communications, and sales enablement.

This role offers a high degree of ownership over the product marketing function, with the opportunity to build the systems, messaging, and playbooks that scale how GovWell goes to market.

We have a hybrid work culture that combines regular in-person collaboration at our New York City office (3+ days per week) with flexibility to work remotely.

Own product positioning and messaging across GovWell's product suite, developing clear value propositions and messaging frameworks that cascade into all marketing collateral in partnership with Brand and the broader marketing team.

Partner with Product and Engineering to launch new products and features, building repeatable go-to-market plans including messaging, launch tiering, channel coordination, and customer communications.

Own sales enablement by creating and maintaining battle cards, competitive one-pagers, decks, and other materials that help Sales and Business Development teams win deals.

Lead customer and competitive research, including win/loss analysis and ongoing market intelligence, and feed insights back into positioning, messaging, and product strategy.

Partner with Marketing to drive product-led content, including use cases, customer stories, and thought leadership that reinforce our positioning and support pipeline generation.

2+ years in product marketing or a related role in B2B SaaS, with experience in positioning, messaging, or go-to-market execution.

Strong storyteller and writer who can translate technical products into clear, compelling narratives for non-technical buyers.

Customer-obsessed and data-driven, using research, win/loss insights, and market context to inform decisions.

Highly collaborative and comfortable partnering with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to connect what gets built to how it is sold.

Systems-oriented and execution-focused, able to build repeatable processes and bring structure to ambiguous environments.

Familiar with modern GTM tooling such as CMS tools, sales enablement platforms, and interactive demos like Navattic, and quick to learn new tools.

Strong alignment with our Core Values.

Compensation within the posted salary band will be commensurate with experience. All offers will include:

Competitive base salary + bonus.

Equity / stock options.

Medical, dental, and vision insurance.

401(k) program.

Flexible PTO.
