Under the direction of the Human Resources Director, this is responsible and technical work involving various administrative phases necessary for the fiscal support of the operation of Human Resources. Supports the Human Resources Director and other members of the Human Resources team with clerical and bookkeeping functions. Work requires independent judgement and the use of bookkeeping skills utilizing advanced software. This is an On-Call Temporary Position.
Supports the Human Resources team with processing benefit premium statements and invoices for payment and review of current employee counts.
Assists the Human Resources Director with the preparation for the annual budget, monitors expenditures and prepares periodic reports as required.
Prepares and processes electronic payment transactions.
Ensures invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to Human Resources procedures. Completes account reconciliation.
Compares Purchase Orders and Invoices to determine terms of payments are met.
Assists the Risk Manager in weekly reconciliation of the Liability and Workers Compensation Accounts and recovery memos of settlements.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
An associate's degree with two years of relevant work experience or a combination of education and experience may be substituted for a degree. An associate's degree with three years of progressively responsible accounting, bookkeeping and customer service are preferred.
