Afterschool Program Leaders And Drivers
The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) is seeking Afterschool Program Leaders and Program Drivers for the THRIVE afterschool program, serving students in the Beaverton School District. The mission at THRIVE is to:
- Support and challenge students physically, mentally, and socially
- Inspire creativity, imagination, and a love of lifelong learning
- Provide opportunities for kids to have fun, learn, and express themselves through a variety of activities in a safe environment
THRIVE offers programing at the following locations:
- Cedar Hills Recreation Center
- Conestoga Recreation & Aquatic Center
- Garden Home Recreation Center (and Chehalem Elementary)
- Tualatin Hills Athletic Center
Responsibilities including but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the coordination, instruction, supervision, and leadership of enrichment activities
- Creating a welcoming, inclusive program environment that supports participant satisfaction
- Ensuring participant safety and providing basic first aid if needed
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis as they are received. The posting will remain open until all positions are filled.
This recruitment will be used to fill multiple openings, with positions starting in August 2025.
