  • Optimize cloud performance and cost through rightsizing, autoscaling, and proactive resource management.

Network Engineering & Automation

  • Architect and maintain cloud networking components including VNETs, subnets, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Automate network provisioning and configuration through CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Integrate observability and telemetry tools (Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch) for proactive network health monitoring.
  • Implement security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC) from design through deployment.
  • Embed compliance checks into automated workflows and generate audit-ready reporting.
  • Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability remediation across cloud network layers.

Observability & Reliability Engineering

  • Deliver full stack observability across applications, databases, cloud services, and network components using tools like Dynatrace.
  • Define and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Implement distributed tracing, log aggregation, and real time alerting to accelerate issue detection and resolution.

Engineering Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor cloud and network engineers in automation, observability, and modern engineering practices.
  • Partner with application teams to design secure, high-performance connectivity models across hybrid and multi cloud environments.
  • Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, design patterns, and strong documentation standards.

Team & Operational Management

  • Lead the Cloud Platform & Network Engineering team, ensuring strong performance and operational excellence.
  • Provide operational metrics and insights for leadership review.
  • Manage day-to-day team activities including sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure smooth handoff and knowledge transfer to Cloud Operations teams.
  • Contribute to the Cloud Center of Excellence and help shape the organization's cloud roadmap.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in cloud environment management (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • 5–7 years in network engineering and operations.
  • 5–7 years leading modernization and transformation initiatives using the Well Architected Framework.
  • 5–7 years people management experience.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) and security tools.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex cloud and network issues.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong project management and prioritization capabilities.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred.
